Barre, VT, October 7, 2021: The Snell Group announced that they will be participating in the Innovation Lab at the 2021 SMRP Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals Annual Conference in St Louis, MO. From October 25-28, join maintenance, reliability, and physical asset management professionals gathering for four days of education, networking, and innovation.

The 2021 SMRP Annual Conference offers 60+ track sessions and an exhibition hall. Don Donofrio, Consultant and Trainer for The Snell Group, will give a live session on today’s motor test instruments. The Innovation Lab “Correlation of Motor Test Data to Localize Motor and Motor Circuit Faults” will be on Tuesday, October 26, 1:15 – 2:15. Many technicians become overwhelmed and miss or misdiagnose motor and motor circuit problems. This workshop explores the theory, data analysis, and data correlation necessary to identify most motor and circuit faults. Using theory, case studies, and numerous methods of data correlation, this topic will explore de-energized and energized motor testing and data correlation. Diagnosing and localizing faults with de-energized data, eight-way to confirm rotor defects, analyzing motor starts for circuit, rotor, and stator faults, power quality, and spectral analysis will also be discussed.
