Barre, VT, May 21, 2019: The Snell Group announced that they will be presenting at the 2019 SMRP, Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals Annual Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. From October 7-10, more than 1,200 maintenance, reliability and physical asset management professionals will gather for education, certification and networking. Educate. Equip. Excel.

The 2019 SMRP Annual Conference offers over 60 track sessions formatted around the SMRP Body of Knowledge. Roy Huff, CMRP, will present a half-day workshop entitled “Understanding Electrical Failure Modes”. Understanding failure modes that can be detected by infrared is crucial to successfully conduct electrical inspections. Dave Sirmans, CMRP, along with co-presenter Don Donofrio will present a workshop titled “Diagnosing Rotor Faults with Electric Motor Testing”. Rotor issues can cause serious motor failures and identifying these failure mechanisms can be quite tasking but can be done through a combination of energized and de-energized data analysis.

The Snell Group will be located at booth 902 in the Exhibit Hall. We will be highlighting infrared and electric motor testing products including training, certification, inspection, and consulting services. These services are specialized for all maintenance & reliability professionals, please stop by to see us.

The Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals is a nonprofit formed by practitioners to advance the maintenance, reliability and physical asset management profession. With well over 5,000 members SMRP provides education, skills and networking opportunities.
