Condition Based Maintenance Users Group presentationBarre, VT, July 25, 2018: The Snell Group is pleased to announce they were chosen to contribute to the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) document, Infrared Thermography Guide. This extensive Guide is used by utilities around the world. The Principal Investigators, Roy Huff and Greg McIntosh of The Snell Group, recently gave a document presentation during the Condition Based Maintenance Users Group (CBMUG).

The Infrared Thermography Guide includes input from EPRI and the Nuclear Maintenance Applications Center (NMAC), as well as from a world-wide list of distinguished practitioners as the Technical Advisory Group.

EPRI provides leadership, industry expertise, and collaborative value to help the electricity sector identify issues, technology gaps, and broader needs that can be addressed through effective research and development programs for the benefit of society. NMAC conducts near-term and long-term research to drive maintenance improvements at nuclear plants.

“The Snell Group has always had a tight relationship with both EPRI and NMAC in working with utilities around the world,” said Jim Fritz, President and CEO of The Snell Group. “We are dedicated to providing knowledge and training both in the U.S. and internationally; in being vendor neutral we are uniquely qualified to write such an important document.”
