Jeremy's Journey -- Cost Savings for Homeowners

It’s not too often we get to help out the local homeowner but I got the chance to this week. Finding in-floor heat tubes is very important if you are going to be cutting up the floor. The homeowner has some water / moisture issues that started 2 years ago. The house was built in 2007. Water started showing up in the downstairs bathroom and some other areas. A Contractor told him he needed to spend $45,000+ to put in drain tile system inside the house, hence why we were called in for our services. No matter where The Snell Group is at for a service job it’s important for us to listen to the story on why we are there to help. Asking some simple questions can go a long way to find some quick solutions. So why the homeowner moved some things around I went for a walk about outside in the backyard to take a look. First thing I spotted, there was no gutters on the backside of the house and the landscaping needed to be redone to help shed any rainwater away from the house. Back downstairs I went to scan the in-floor tubing and mark it out for the owner. After a conversation we came to the conclusion he didn’t need to cut up the floor or destructive work inside the house. He just needed some simple landscaping in the backyard and to have a gutter system put in place.
