Barre, VT, February 14, 2017: The Snell Group is pleased to announce that they will be hosting a half-day workshop for SMRP at the 2017 Symposium. The event will be held at the Hilton Atlanta Airport in Atlanta, GA from June 7-8, 2017, 8am-5pm.
The Symposium is an opportunity for professionals to promote and develop excellence in maintenance, reliability, and physical asset management. Twelve half-day workshops are offered so attendees can have the chance to attend numerous workshops. There are also opportunities for facility tours, networking, as well as CMRP, CMRT, and CAMA exams.
SMRP is the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals. It is a non-profit professional society serving workers in the maintenance and reliability field. Around 4,000 international individual and corporate members make up the society, and represent a wide variety of manufacturing and service industry companies.
The Snell Group will be hosting a morning workshop on June 8th from 8am-12pm at the Symposium. The workshop will cover tips and techniques used to improve mechanical inspection by utilizing infrared technology. Attendees will see how to properly gather and analyze thermal images, as well as how to apply thermal imaging to an extensive variety of mechanical equipment, properly and safely.
