Taking place Orlando, more than 1,000 maintenance, reliability and physical asset management professionals will come together. Experienced practitioners will lead workshops designed to implement best practices for maintenance and reliability into company operations.

Roy Huff, CMRP, The Snell Group, and Adrian Messer, CMRP, UE Systems, Inc. will present a half day workshop entitled 15 Best Practices for Electrical Inspections, Maintenance, and Safety. Providing attendees with better knowledge of energized electrical inspection methods and updates to NFPA70E, these case studies include the use of ultrasound and infrared technologies to detect an increased number of electrical failure modes.

Dave Sirmans, CMRP, The Snell Group will present a half day workshop entitled Improving Your Electric Motor Reliability Program by Conducting Acceptance Testing. Sirmans will explore how electric motor acceptance testing can be utilized to increase the reliability of motors in your facility. A significant percentage of motors in storage may have motor faults and a sizeable percentage of both new and rebuilt motors fail acceptance tests.
