Hey fellow thermographers,
Help me out: I need a hygrometer, but I'm not sure what exactly to look for. I want a good quality tool that is fairly accurate and reliable. I've seen some multi-function meters that also measure wind velocity (and other things), but I don't want to spend $250.00 if it is really not warranted. Or, should I be spending more for something quality?
Any advice is appreciated!

There are several decent hygrometers in the under $200 range. The unit I've had the longest is a Testo 610. Like most of them it shows temperature and then your choice of RH, dewpoint, and wet bulb. A comparable unit is the Fluke 971. If you don't already own a moisture meter, take a look at the Protimeter MMS, which does it all--pin metering, pinless metering, surface temperature, and humidity including wet bulb and grains per pound. A very nifty item, and you can sometimes find them on eBay for $300-400 in nearly new condition.
Definitely FLUKE 971!
