One of the most powerful ways in which infrared thermography can be applied is locating and/or verifying levels in tanks, vessels and silos. While existing instrumentation may provide this information, it can often be inaccurate or unreliable. This presentation will focus on how to successfully begin using thermography for inspection of levels including conditions needed, typical patterns detected and the limitations you may encounter.
